Mysteryland
Good vibes and good music.
I went to Mysteryland this past Sunday, which is an EDM festival held on the grounds of Woodstock. It was incredible and I'm still in awe of all the performances I got to see. Tesla Boy, Oliver (AMAZING), Giraffage, Bondax, Classixx, TJR, Moon Boots (really cute), and then Diplo finished the night with an insane set (although I had a headache by then from lack of food and all the cigarette smoke). Ebenezer and I decked out our Stormtrooper and Darth Vader helmets with flower crowns to wear to the festival. Ebenezer was the real trooper, he kept his helmet on for a majority of the sets while I complained about how hot and sweaty it made me.
We weren't able to bring large cameras, so instead of bringing a standard point and shoot or only relying on our phones, we brought disposable cameras and my Fujifilm Instax Neo Classic 90, from which all these photos were taken. I have to say that with this instax camera, I almost felt no need to use my phone (except for videos). I didn't even get to use a disposable camera because this one is just so handy and the different modes are perfect for all the varieties of lighting you might encounter at a festival. But I will definitely be trying out my disposable camera at the next festival after seeing how rad my friend's film developed.
I also threw in some photos from the beach, which we went to the next day with a few other peeps. It was a really sweet start to the summer spending the weekend surrounded by happy people enjoying themselves, the music, and the weather. Can't wait for everything else coming up this summer, it is definitely going to be an eventful one.
