Stairway to Heaven
Today I climbed the Stairway to Heaven Trail, which is part of the larger Appalachian Trail. I actually didn't realize I was climbing it until I got to the top viewpoint and checked-in on Facebook, I thought we were just hiking the Appalachian trail.
It was very challenging, but also very fun and getting to the top was extremely rewarding. I actually forgot about everything else going on while I concentrated on the climb which did wonders for my overall mood. I even forgot about taking photos until we got to the top!
Afterwards we walked the Pochuck Boardwalk, which we've done before but during the late winter. At that time, the water hit the bottom of the boardwalk, but now the cattails were super dense and there was hardly any water left.
