Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls has been on my list of things to see for so long and I enjoyed it despite the amusement park feel of it all. I especially loved the white water walk. We were taken down to the water where there are category 6 rapids and waves that are 5m tall. At the end of the boardwalk, there is a platform that sits at the water's edge. At one point, a wave broke on the platform and we were inches deep in water, which was terrifying! I would also highly recommend other activities like Journey Behind the Falls where you are taken to the base of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and the Hornblower Cruise which takes you into the mist at the center of the horseshoe crest.
