Long Pond Ironworks State Park
We came across this frozen lake by accident. As we drove over it on the bridge, we saw a man sitting out in the middle of the lake fishing and we immediately u-turned. How could we pass up the chance to walk on a frozen lake? It was terrifying for about a second, but the ice was super thick and stable. On our way out, we stopped at a dam on the same lake to watch the sunset.
