My Mission
(and my first post)
I started photographing with my first camera (a Nikon S6) almost 10 years ago. It grew into a real passion of mine, and three (more like 8) cameras and over 100,000 photos later, I find myself unsatisfied.
When college came around, I got overwhelmed with school work and other things and photography took a backseat. I found it harder and harder to encourage other people to join me, as I didn't know anyone as passionate about it as I was. So, I let it become a once-in-a-while hobby with the odd person who would let me photograph them or who would agree to hike into the woods with me. I really enjoy the social aspect of photography and the community behind it, something I miss dearly.
Now that I feel more in control of my time and I feel confident in my ability to commit to this, I'm going to give it another go. You'll hopefully come to know me better through my blog, but most importantly through my photographs. I hope to inspire others to pursue their interests through documenting my own journey. So here's to sparking up an old flame.
Happy Creating,
Katherine
